Volleyball Recap: Franklin Community's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Franklin Community waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Mooresville Pioneers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzly Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Franklin Community was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-22.

Chase Alyea paced Franklin Community's offense, picking up 16 kills. Alyea got some help from Jesse Kaster and his 32 assists. Jacob Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Franklin Community pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Mooresville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Franklin Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Shelbyville on the 1st. Mooresville has also already played their next game (against Herron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
