Basketball Recap: Arroyo Gets the Win

While Arroyo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 55-48 victory over the Galileo Lions on Saturday.

Darryn Wong and Nathan Lee certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Wong went 7 for 12 on his way to 16 points, while Lee went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points.

Arroyo's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Galileo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Arroyo will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2025 against Mission San Jose at 5:00 p.m. As for Galileo, they will be taking part in a tournament against Crystal Springs Uplands at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
