Volleyball Recap: Mesa Vista Find Success

Mesa Vista won the last time they faced Jemez Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warrior. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Mesa Vista had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-16, 25-10, 25-21.

Mesa Vista now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Jemez Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Mesa Vista is taking a road trip to square off against McCurdy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Jemez Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Monte Del Sol Charter at 5:00 p.m.
