Volleyball Recap: Hobgood Charter Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Hobgood Charter entered their tilt with Mattamuskeet on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 11th.

Hobgood Charter walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-10, 25-16.

Kinsey Peel paced Hobgood Charter's offense, picking up 16 kills. Peel got some help from Emma Rae Cannon and her 16 assists. Cannon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Haleigh Eason, each putting up three.

The victory got Hobgood Charter back to even at 9-9. As for Mattamuskeet, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Coincidentally, Hobgood Charter and Mattamuskeet will both be playing Bear Grass Charter the next time they take the court. The Lakers will head out to face the Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raiders will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
