Soccer Recap: Ballston Spa Comes Up Short

Ballston Spa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans. While losing is never fun, Ballston Spa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake are ranked 67th).

Ballston Spa's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-4.

Looking ahead, Ballston Spa will venture away from home to challenge Niskayuna at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they will host Albany at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
