Soccer Recap: Providence Comes Up Short

Providence's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Heritage Christian Warriors by a score of 1-0. The Pioneers were probably out for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Providence dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Heritage Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

Providence will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Crespi at 4:00 p.m. As for Heritage Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Southlands Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian is facing Southlands Christian at the right time seeing as Southlands Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
