Baseball Game Preview: North Miami Warriors vs. Western Panthers

The North Miami Warriors will face off against the Western Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Miami will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

North Miami played against Oregon-Davis on Saturday and won via forfeit.

While Western's win against Eastern wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Comets 6-4. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Western's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Rodman, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

North Miami pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Western, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
