Basketball Recap: Shorewood Wins Going Away Against Lynnwood

Shorewood won the last time they faced Lynnwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Shorewood Stormrays were the clear victor by a 69-44 margin over the Lynnwood Royals. Given the Stormrays' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Royals are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Shorewood's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lynnwood, they moved to 4-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Shorewood will head out on the road to square off against Mountlake Terrace at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorewood is facing Mountlake Terrace at the right time seeing as Mountlake Terrace is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lynnwood, they will welcome Meadowdale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadowdale will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lynnwood surely won't give up without a fight.
