Baldwinsville had won three straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 5-7 to make it four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bees have posted against the Northstars since May 27, 2023.
As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Northstars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Baldwinsville since on Thursday.
