Volleyball Recap: West Las Vegas Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last six times West Las Vegas and Santa Fe Indian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Braves on Thursday. Dons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Braves since Thursday.

West Las Vegas started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.

West Las Vegas' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Santa Fe Indian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Coming up, West Las Vegas will head out to face off against Santa Fe Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Fe Indian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
