Baseball Recap: Branchville Yellow Jackets vs. Charleston Math & Science Riptide
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Branchville). They put the hurt on the Charleston Math & Science Riptide with a sharp 25-3 victory on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Chayse Lytle and Seth Shaw did most of the damage at the plate: Lytle scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Shaw scored a run while going 3-for-5. Those four runs gave Lytle a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Henry Phalen, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Branchville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The victory got Branchville back to even at 3-3.
