Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Roosevelt Mustangs

Centennial is 0-8 against Roosevelt since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Centennial Huskies will be playing at home against the Roosevelt Mustangs at 5:45 p.m. Roosevelt took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Centennial, who comes in off a win.

Centennial will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Norco, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Centennial put the hurt on Norco with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Huskies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Roosevelt's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Santiago by a score of 3-2.

Roosevelt couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Santiago a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 32-30, 18-25, 18-25, 25-13, 15-6.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-7.
