After a string of six wins, Johnson County Central's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freeman Falcons. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-38 back in January.

Johnson County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Freeman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Johnson County Central will face off against Elmwood-Murdock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freeman, they will take on Weeping Water in a tournament on Saturday. Weeping Water will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Freeman surely won't give up without a fight.
