Basketball Recap: Northview Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dominguez, Northview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 victory over the Bassett Olympians. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Olympians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Northview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bassett, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview and Sunny Hills will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Bassett, they will head out to square off against United Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Olympians will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 76.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
