Football Recap: Dublin Scioto's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Dublin Scioto lost against Westerville South back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Irish fell 26-18 to the Wildcats. The Irish were up 18-3 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

When it comes to explaining why Dublin Scioto lost, don't look at Eden Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dublin Scioto fell to 3-1. As for Westerville South, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Dublin Scioto will welcome Worthington Kilbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Irish will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westerville South, they will head out to take on Big Walnut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
