Basketball Recap: Taylor Prep Takes a Loss

Taylor Prep lost against Advanced Tech Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Taylor Prep Tigers took a 60-42 bruising from the Advanced Tech Academy Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 571st, while the Lakers are ranked 177th).

Taylor Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Advanced Tech Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

The future could be bright for both Taylor Prep and Advanced Tech Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Taylor Prep will look to extend Manoogian's three-game losing streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Advanced Tech Academy will try to hand Universal Learning Academy their tenth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
