Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Marmion walked away with it. They came out on top against the South Elgin Storm by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Cadets, who have now won six matches in a row.

The win got Marmion back to even at 17-17. As for South Elgin, their loss dropped their record down to 22-14.

Coming up, Marmion will square off against Wheaton North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Cadets surely won't give up without a fight. South Elgin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
