Softball Recap: Cabrillo's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Cabrillo had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Compton Tarbabes 23-10 on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jaguars needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Cabrillo's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Compton, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cabrillo is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Compton will square off against rival Woodrow Wilson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
