Albany waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Foley Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.
While Albany won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-19, 25-19.
Brynn Panek paced Albany's offense, picking up 14 kills. Panek got some help from Lillian VanHeel and her 37 assists. Kiley Lange controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Albany's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Foley, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Meanwhile, Foley will face off against Little Falls at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 320).
