Volleyball Recap: Santiago Takes a Loss

Santiago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Anaheim Colonists. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Santiago couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Anaheim a tough time in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 30-28.

Santiago's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Anaheim, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Santiago nor Anaheim have any future games scheduled.
