Basketball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Francis Parker Wyverns. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wyverns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Francis Parker, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will take on Cornerstone Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Francis Parker, they will face off against Hancock County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
