Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Clovis Cougars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Clovis, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Clovis West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Clovis, they will welcome Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
