The Steele Knights earned a 5-3 win over the Long Creek Dragons on Tuesday.

Steele hit Long Creek with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Darriyn Morales (2), Paulo Navedo (2), and Marcelo Cortazar.

Steele's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Steele and Long Creek will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Knights see the pitch they'll take on Mission at 8:00 p.m. on January 1, 2026. As for Long Creek, their break will end when they face Lago Vista at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
