Basketball Recap: Happy Valley Comes Up Short

Happy Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-20 loss at the hands of the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 57-28 loss back in January.

Happy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-25. As for Chuckey-Doak, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-12.

Looking ahead, Happy Valley will head out on the road to square off against Gatlinburg-Pittman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chuckey-Doak, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-55 loss against Hampton on the 24th.
