Softball Recap: Athens Warriors vs. Riverton Hawks

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Athens). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Riverton Hawks a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Aubrey Crispen 2027 made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Crispen 2027 was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base.
