Volleyball Recap: Cahokia Takes a Loss

Cahokia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Marion Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Thursday.

Cahokia may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored ten points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10.

Cahokia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Cahokia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wesclin on the 13th. As for Marion, they will take on Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
