Baseball Recap: Pungo Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Pungo Christian Academy lost against Lawrence Academy on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pungo Christian Academy Raiders fell 5-1 to the Lawrence Academy Warriors. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pungo Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Byrd, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Pungo Christian Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lawrence Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pungo Christian Academy will face off against Ridgecroft at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be Ridgecroft's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lawrence Academy, they will challenge Northeast Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
