Basketball Game Preview: Caesar Rodney Riders vs. Odessa Ducks

The Caesar Rodney Riders are taking a road trip to face off against the Odessa Ducks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Caesar Rodney has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Odessa will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Thursday, Caesar Rodney lost to Cape Henlopen on the road by a 63-44 margin.

Meanwhile, everything went Odessa's way against Hodgson Vo-Tech on Thursday as Odessa made off with a 73-48 victory. Fans of the Ducks have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Caesar Rodney now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Odessa, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Caesar Rodney couldn't quite finish off Odessa in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 and fell 55-53. Can Caesar Rodney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
