Baseball Game Preview: Hilton Head Prep Dolphins vs. The Habersham School Patriots

The Hilton Head Prep Dolphins will face off against The Habersham School Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilton Head Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 13 games.

On Wednesday, Hilton Head Prep made easy work of Colleton Prep Academy and carried off a 15-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Dolphins, who have now won ten games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for The Habersham School's offense. They lost 10-0 to Coastal HomeSchool on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Patriots have suffered against the Hurricanes since April 18, 2019.

Hilton Head Prep pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for The Habersham School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Everything went Hilton Head Prep's way against The Habersham School in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Hilton Head Prep made off with a 10-0 victory.
