Oak Lawn strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Bremen Braves by a score of 34-21. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Despite the loss, Bremen still got an impressive performance from Kishawn Gantt, who picked up 45 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Kaeden Pettis, who threw for 175 yards and two TDs.

Oak Lawn's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bremen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Oak Lawn will head out to challenge Argo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bremen, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Thornton Fractional North at 6:00 p.m. The Braves will be up against the Meteors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
