Basketball Recap: Davin Fuller's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cornerstone Christian Academy over Rockwell Christian School

Cornerstone Christian Academy lost against Rockwell Christian School back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders fell 51-39 to the Rockwell Christian School Chargers.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davin Fuller, who dropped a double-double on 15 rebounds and 11 blocks. Fuller is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Farthing, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Rockwell Christian School, they moved to 3-12 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Cornerstone Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Tabernacle Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rockwell Christian School will face off against Tabernacle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tabernacle Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.1 points per game this season.
