Cactus came tearing into Monday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Agua Fria Owls with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cobras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.

Cactus walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-16.

Addison Martin paced Cactus' offense, picking up nine kills. Martin got some help from Haley Stewart and her 18 assists. Ziara Pauli controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Cactus' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Agua Fria, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Coincidentally, Cactus and Agua Fria will both be playing Westview the next time they take the court. The Cobras will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Owls will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
