Wekiva came into Friday's game looking for another win against Horizon, but Amaya Mitchell wouldn't allow it. The Horizon Hawks came out on top against the Wekiva Mustangs by a score of 51-44 on Friday thanks in part to Mitchell, who went 10 of 16 on her way to 23 points and four steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.
Another player making a difference was Zoe Corjay, who posted eight points in addition to seven steals and six assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

One thing working in Oak Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups. As for Wekiva, they will face off against West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wekiva is facing West Orange at the right time seeing as West Orange is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
