Basketball Game Preview: Scotia-Glenville Tartans vs. Gloversville Huskies/Dragons

Scotia-Glenville is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Gloversville a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Scotia-Glenville Tartans will host the Gloversville Huskies/Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Scotia-Glenville lost to Broadalbin-Perth on the road by a 59-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 655th, while the Patriots are ranked 306th).

Meanwhile, Gloversville came up short against Hudson Falls on Tuesday and fell 60-50.

Scotia-Glenville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gloversville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.
