Soccer Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Pendleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Palmetto Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Pendleton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Palmetto, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Pendleton will be playing in front of their home fans against West-Oak at 7:00 p.m. on March 13th. As for Palmetto, they are taking a road trip to challenge Southside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmetto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.
