You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Millard South's strategy against Bryan on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Millard South Patriots blew the Bryan Bears out of the water with a 104-54 final score. With the Patriots ahead 58-36 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Millard South got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Albert out in front who went 8-for-11 to rack up 21 points and five assists. Albert continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Koby Meyers was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 assists.

Albert wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Millard South was working as a unit and finished the game with 35 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Bryan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kaleb Kimble, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points in addition to five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Deon Darnell, who went 6-for-13 en route to 13 points.

Millard South has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.1 points over those games. As for Bryan, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-21.

Looking ahead, Millard South will head out to face off against Lincoln North Star at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln North Star is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1 points per game this season. As for Bryan, they will welcome Creighton Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
