Preview: Neville vs. West Ouachita
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, West Ouachita should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on Neville at 7:00 PM. West Ouachita will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Everything went West Ouachita's way against Buckeye last Friday as they made off with a 47-20 victory. With West Ouachita ahead 34-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
As for Neville, they had a rough outing against West Monroe three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Neville were the clear victor by a 48-20 margin over Franklinton. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Neville had established a 42-13 advantage.
Their wins bumped Neville to 4-2 and West Ouachita to 2-5. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
