Soccer Game Preview: Folsom vs. Whitney

Folsom is 0-8-2 against Whitney since January of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Folsom Bulldogs will challenge the Whitney Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. Folsom's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, Folsom didn't have quite enough to beat Granite Bay and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Whitney hasn't lost a match since December 30, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Jesuit finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Zach Laduzinski, who's now up to five this season.

Whitney's draw makes their record 8-3-7 this season. As for Folsom, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-3.
