Basketball Recap: Dashawn Ervin's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ragsdale over Page

Ragsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Page Pirates. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-25 back in December of 2024.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dashawn Ervin, who posted ten points. Josiah Beatty was another key player, putting up ten points.

Ragsdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Page, their record is now 9-10.

Ragsdale has already played their next game, a 71-35 defeat against Grimsley on the 31st. As for Page, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-51 win against Western Guilford on the 31st.
