Soccer Recap: First Baptist Academy Plays to a Tie

First Baptist Academy had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor the Neumann Celtics could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Lions have been dealt a draw since back in November.

With that draw, First Baptist Academy's record moves to 1-5-3. As for Neumann, they moved theirs to 1-6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Community School of Naples at 7:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Neumann will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against North Port at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025.
