Kenyon-Wanamingo is on  a  four-game streak of home wins, while Fillmore Central is on  a  three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Knights will host the Falcons  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.

If New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kenyon-Wanamingo, they should've done a better job of containing  Emilie Jarvis. The Knights came out on top against the Panthers by a score of  3-1  on Thursday for which the team can thank  Jarvis, who  had 30  digs and three assists. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last eight games she's  played.
 Kenyon-Wanamingo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-9, 25-16,  25-22.
Meanwhile, Fillmore Central made easy work of Alden-Conger  on Thursday and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Fillmore Central walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9,  25-17.
 Kenyon-Wanamingo's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Fillmore Central, their win bumped their record up to 24-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Saturday's  match:  Kenyon-Wanamingo has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 6  aces per game. However, it's not like Fillmore Central struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9.7  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
