Volleyball Game Preview: Christopher Cougars vs. Evergreen Valley Cougars

Christopher will challenge Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Christopher didn't have quite enough to beat Branham and fell 3-2. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Bruins recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Christopher started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 22-25, 26-24, 25-21, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Ann Sobrato on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

Evergreen Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16.

Christopher now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Evergreen Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
