Basketball Recap: Family of Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Family of Faith Christian entered their contest against Liberty Academy on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Family of Faith Christian Warriors had to suffer through a 60-33 loss at the hands of the Liberty Academy Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-18 last Tuesday.

Family of Faith Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2. As for Liberty Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Family of Faith Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Family of Faith Christian is facing Cristo Rey at the right time seeing as Cristo Rey is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Liberty Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Life Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
