Springfield has gone 8-2 against Thurston recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Springfield Millers are taking a road trip to challenge the Thurston Colts at 5:30 p.m. Thurston took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Springfield, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Springfield strolled past Eagle Point with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. The win continues a trend for the Millers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Thurston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 68-25 loss at the hands of Crater. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Comets are ranked fifth).

Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Springfield, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Springfield took their win against Thurston in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 53-29. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springfield since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
