The Cleveland Rams will head out to face off against the Clayton Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cleveland 3.6, Clayton 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Clayton's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Cleveland hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Rams were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over South Garner on Monday. Considering the Rams have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

| 03/28/26 vs Roxboro Community | 4 |
Tanner Murphy looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Cleveland got a massive performance out of Henry Blackman, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Blackman has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Cam Dean, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Cleveland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Garner only posted an OBP of .238.
Meanwhile, Clayton entered their tilt with Faith Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Patriots.
Jackson Clinard got the start for Clayton and what a start it was: he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Clinard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Clayton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davis Duty, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Cleveland's record now sits at 15-7. As for Clayton, their record is now 15-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Cleveland has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Clayton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Cleveland couldn't quite get it done against Clayton in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 5-0. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
