Meeker got themselves on the board against Olathe on Friday, but Olathe never followed suit. They won by a run and slipped past the Pirates 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cowboys have posted against the Pirates since May 22, 2021.

Not much got past Carson Klinzmann, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Olathe off the board. Klinzmann has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Meeker saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hoyt Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Meeker and bumps their season record up to 7-13.
