Baseball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

The McLane Highlanders didn't have quite enough to beat the Edison Tigers on Monday and fell 10-9. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leland Flores was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. McLane is 3-1 when Flores posts two or more runs, but 10-15 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Francisco Aleman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

McLane's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 7-17-1.

As of now, neither McLane nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
