Basketball Game Preview: Ashland Grizzlies vs. Eagle Point Eagles

The Ashland Grizzlies will square off against the Eagle Point Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Friday, Ashland took a blow against Springfield, falling 65-26. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Millers are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, Eagle Point suffered their closest loss since December 21, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of North Eugene by a score of 41-38.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Eagle Point, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
