Basketball Recap: Suffern Takes a Loss

Suffern and North Rockland squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Suffern had to settle for second. They fell just short of the North Rockland Raiders by a score of 53-50. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Suffern's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-4. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely North Rockland, Mamaroneck, and North Rockland. As for North Rockland, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Suffern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Rockland, they will challenge Mamaroneck on Wednesday.
