Volleyball Recap: Milton Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Natick, Milton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Walpole Timberwolves by a score of 3-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Timberwolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Milton was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 19-25, 25-15.

Keira Clark paced Milton's offense, picking up 17 kills. Clark got some help from Sophie Derwinski and her 29 assists. Vivian O'Neil and Sarah Clarke kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with six aces apiece.

The victory got Milton back to even at 1-1. As for Walpole, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Milton has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Weymouth on the 9th. As for Walpole, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Framingham on the 9th.
